Whela complies with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and does not knowingly collect information from or about children under the age of 13. If you have accidentally created an account for a child please contact us at [email protected] and we will immediatly and permanently delete all data associated with your account.

Whela may show personalized ads from Google. As described in our privacy policy, we DO NOT share any of the information you share with Whela with any other company. The personalized ads are completely controled by Google and we send no information to Google. We do store a cookie allowing Google to know that you used the Whela web and mobile apps. The pain scale faces are heavily influenced by Hyperbole and a Half. We've had Hope And Stars redraw them from scratch to fit our needs and style, but Allie's drawings are great and you should read her story about where they came from. She also has a store you can order from.
